My 6th Birthday Party

I had my birthday party one day early. As you can see, the recent weather cleared up just in time for us to have the party outside!

Olympic Torch Parade

Today Maisie and I carried the Olympic torches we made with Daddy in a parade in town.

The parade was led by the mayor although I did my best to get in front of him!

At the end, the mayor picked my torch to go on the promotional vehicle and it was last seen driving round New Milton!

The weather was horrible yesterday so we mostly stayed inside. Here is a picture of the olympic torches we made. We are going to carry them in a parade in two weeks time. Hopefully the rain will have gone by then!

Whilst the sun shines!

We have been making use of the nice weather for the brief time it appears. even if that means picking peas just before bedtime.

We went to Portsmouth today.

and had a trip on a boat round the harbour.

We even went to visit Daddy in Bournemouth when my school had an inset day. I don't think he enjoyed having to go back into work when his lunch hour finished whilst we had ice creams!

Queen's Jubilee

We watched the queen celebrating her diamond jubilee on television yesterday.

My Fun Run

I did a 1k fun run in Lymington today after Daddy finished his 10k race. I have been looking forward to it for quite a while and really enjoyed running with the other children. I got a special T-Shirt to run in and got a medal at the end! Hopefully I will be able to do more runs in the future!
