Sun-day

It was a nice and sunny day today and we met Grandad and Grandma Wardle and Gran and Grandad Haynes for a meal in Abingdon. We went for a walk and found a nice playground. Maisie even got to go on a swing for the first time.

Grandad Wardle gave me this helmet for my bike that he had bought....

When we got home, Daddy got me to help him plant potatoes. Apparantly I am holding one upside down in the first photo so I hope they all grow....

Mother's Day Morning

Well I got another go on my bike today - with a wee bit more success than yesterday. We went to the seafront at Highcliffe where the path is a bit flatter and I had great fun speeding along on what was a really nice morning.

I even got to play on the beach - I just wish they had remembered my bucket and spade as making sandcastles with your hands isn't as much fun!

Then when we got back to the car park I got my reward for all that pedalling...

My sister was with us even though she slept for most of the time. However, there is a nice photo of her on her blog.

Pedal Power

We took my big bike to the old disused railway line in the forest today but I found it a bit difficult to pedal as everything is a bit more bumpy than I am used to - we all decided that I need a bit more practice on some nice flat surfaces first.
